About Us

Welcome to Country Boy's Kennel. We are located in Sanford, NC. The kennel officially opened its doors in 1995, but we have been training dogs since 1985. Our kennel first focused on training Beagles, but with no AKC clubs locally we began training Bluetick Coonhounds.

We hunt, show, breed, and raise Blueticks for ourselves and anyone else. We can breed your hound or whelp your puppies in our newly built whelping room.

Most of my bloodline goes back to JJ Calhanan's Missouri Blue Rock, with some Jet and Hammer breeding.
